Grain purchasing
The main direction of the cooperative's activities is grain trading. Grain from cooperative members and other clients is purchased and exported. Over the past ten years, the cooperative has purchased and sold over 120 thousand tons of various grains, rapeseed and legumes each year.
Elevator services
The cooperative's elevator services are used by both cooperative members and other individuals or companies. Every year, about 100 thousand tons of grain are received, dried, cleaned, prepared for storage and sale, and unloaded.
Trade in fertilizers and pesticides
Fertilizers, pesticides, and micronutrient fertilizers are purchased from distributors and sold to cooperative members. In recent years, the cooperative has purchased and sold about 15 thousand tons of macrofertilizers and various pesticides annually for 2.5 million euros.
About us
The first ten years of successful operations led to the cooperative “Joniškio aruodas”, established in 2007 by grain growers from the Joniškis region, becoming a modern, competitive and reliable agricultural company.
In 2007, the founders of the “Joniškio aruodas” cooperative were 54 farmers who managed 10,000 hectares of land. A decade later, the cooperative already has almost 15 thousand hectares of arable land and unites 84 shareholders who actively participate in the management of the cooperative, making decisions by voting.
The cooperative is proud of the projects implemented, the mutual trust gained, reliable business partners and its increasingly strong position in the market.
